This is a special place for me to eat. I am trying to eat more vegetarian food, and this place has a lot of interesting vegetarian options. I love sushi, so if I can find good vegetarian sushi, I might be able to go plant-based. The ramen, the sushi, the buns, the dumplings-- everything is worth trying here. The chocolate cake is rich and tasty. The servers are friendly and welcoming. The bathroom is in a bit of an awkward place as it is in the kitchen. Feel free to use it though-- I know I always do.

Ordered a mushroom ramen for pickup. Online ordering said it would be an hour but I called and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I recommend calling if you don't want to wait as long (though I'm sure it depends on how busy they are). Parked on Lankershim. Small space inside. I loved how many different types of mushrooms were inside the soup! The noodles were really tasty. I got it at medium spice level and it definitely had a kick to it, but it was good! The broth wasn't very hot which was kind of a bummer, I drove less than 5 minutes to get home so there's no way it cooled down on the drive. Portion-wise, it's enough for one big meal or enough to have some for leftovers. I will say, I think my leftovers one day later tasted even better than than having it fresh.

I've eaten here several times and it's always delicious. I've only ever had sushi rolls and appetizers here but they also serve noodles and ramen. The sushi rolls are similarly priced to sushi places that use fish and other sea creatures. It's a cute little restaurant. Parking is better on the street is best. I love eating vegan sushi here whenever I can and this is the best. The service is quick and friendly.

i love this restaurant!! the food is amazing and the customer service is the best :) my favorite ramen spot! perfect for vegetarians/vegans

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great vegan sushi, ramen, and more! We were meeting up with some friends for dinner in the area, and this place was the highest-rated veg place. It's a cute and pleasant but small space, not good for large parties. That said, there were just 4 of us so we managed to fit at one of their tables. We shared: - Salmon lovers roll: my favorite--so good! As someone who still eats fish, this was impressive. - Black dragon roll: good flavor, but a little too dry - Spicy brothless udon: VERY SPICY. I got a medium and I can handle spice but this was really dang hot. - Avocado roll: good, but pretty standard - Fried cauliflower wings: delicious! - Potato croquettes: nice and crispy, but a little TOO crispy--it shredded the inside of my mouth. Service was very good and the prices reasonable--a solid vegan sushi option in the area. Would definitely visit again!

Relaxing ambiance,Delicious unique food! Amazing staff kind and helpful. Always a pleasure to come to this restaurant. My favorite is the teriyaki chicken and broccoli and their Ramen is savory and comforting. Don't forget to get a sushi roll. You have to try one. They all are delicious but my favorite is the popcorn vegan roll. it's not an average sushi roll. It's something special.

There's a small parking lot behind the building that you enter around the corner. Theres also street parking, but make sure to read the signs. On a Saturday night, our party of 5 waited no more than 10 minutes to be seated inside. They have a few tables outside. The food was very tasty and came in normal to large portions. I would go back to try their other unique dishes. You scan a QR code for their menu. It's a little inconvenient to scroll through since you can't skip to certain sections with a simple click.

Large menu with a variety of options and loooove all the vegan ramen options!! It's always so hard to choose what I want! Warning tho - if you order spicy, it will truly be spicy! And the crazy spicy udon...it's like spicy noodle challenge 5x level spicy. So just know what you're getting yourself into because I underestimated it and was not prepared for how insanely spicy it would actually be. Soooo good, but so spicy! Food takes a while so wouldn't recommend coming here if you're in a rush, but if you have time, it's worth the wait! Takeout orders typically take ~45min to an hour so highly recommend ordering ahead of time! Staff is friendly and they have outdoor seating and a small parking lot.

Amazing vegan food. Everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. Run by Shanshan and her husband the fare is very fresh and reasonably priced. This little gem gets very crowded on weekends but also has seating outside. Cleverly decorated with Japanese comic manga art on the walls. Will definitely come here again!

Gokoku had a nice quiet, homey vibe and very cool custom art. The dishes were really hit or miss. The Beyond ramen was quite bland, especially compared to our usual go-to Jinya vegan ramen. The kale & beans dish was confusingly underwhelming-- literally no spices or flavors added to the two ingredients. The bao was enjoyable and flavorful and the fried cauliflower was delicious. The service was okay, if a bit inattentive. With several vegan ramen options around the area and I'm not sure this will be a repeat.
